Before this, we went to see the changing of guard in front of Buckingham Palace. We had already missed twice and so this time i couldnt miss it anymore.

Yesterday, we went to Windsor Castle, the official home to the Royal Family!!!! Arh.. its the castle that i have always wanted to go. This is the kind of castle that i always picture in my mind since young, those kiddy storybooks that we read in kindergarten about queen and king living in this kind of castles. Once again its 3.5hr + 3.5 hr = 7 hrs of bus ride. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

We went into the castle to visit their semi-state rooms, Queen Mary's doll house & St george Chapel. We cant take the pics of the doll house. =(

Tmr's the start of sch. =( Its hard to pick up the motivation to study again once u've slacked for almost 4 full mths. Just bear with the final year and thats it i dun have to study anymore!! Just getting more and more sick of it. My lectures are only 1 hr each!! I wonder what they will be teaching within 1 hr.

The weather is turning really cold. It has dropped to single digit for temperature. The combination of t-shirt + a jacket is no longer the best combination anymore. I may need to start wearing a woolen shirt + jacket.

TOday we went to Oxford. What a long journey! 3.5 hrs +3.5 hrs= 7 hrs of bus ride in total today. It was SOOOOOOO cold that we were all freezing and hiding in some buildings whenever possible. The buildings there are very much like those in St. Albans that i have taken (all those gothic architecture). The only one that i like is this dining hall in Christchurch.

According to the church, this is the hall that Harry Potter movie (sorcerers's stone & chamber of secrets) took place when they all dine. The actual scene is quite a small hall, hence we feel maybe the director did something e.g by taking 2 scenes of such hall and combine them to become a big hall. Well anyway im really happy to see my harry potter place.

After failed to get into Buckingham palace that day, we returned to central london again yesterday. We were extremely determined to visit Buckingham palace since its only opened till this friday.

Buckingham Palace! Too bad we couldnt take any photos inside. We were guided by this audio guide, which allows u to walk and press the guide button to hear on your own pace. Towards the end i feel like almost all rooms are about the same. Its a get-to-know-queenelizabeth2-better session hahaha. =)

I get hungry easily. I also feel tired easily. Today we rest at room from walking much in the past few days. I cook today!! I fried the chicken with some onion and cook pasta. ACtually cooking isn't very hard, but u just require experience to gauge whether its cooked or not. Wahahaha... this wk is like some survival skills learning week. Im doing the supermarket trips, washing of own clothes, cooking, travelling etc.

This wk is induction week for the local students, which means this week we have nth on!!!!!!! Hip hip hurray!!!! Im starting to like this uni HAHAH. We went london yesterady. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We sat on the London Eye, went to visit Buckingham palace(but didnt go in yesterday =( ), and to Big Ben.
